Church of Saint Thecla

David Beauchesne is standing in front of the village's iconic church.

The church of Sainte-Thècle is located in the municipality of Sainte-Thècle, in the Mauricie region of Quebec. Built between 1903 and 1905 according to the plans of architects Joseph-Georges Bussières and Charles Lafond, it features an eclectic and opulent architectural style. The building is renowned for its interior paintings by the artist Louis-Eustache Monty and its state of preservation, in addition to its cultural significance to the village.
