I didn't bring any camping gear. I brought the bare minimum when it came to packing. Sometimes I didn't know where I was going to sleep when I left in the morning. I had a rough idea of ​​where I was going and would find something by looking on Google Maps. I also used Airbnb 16 times.

In total, I climbed the equivalent of 29,927 meters. That's almost 30 km of elevation gain!!!

The beginning of the trip was quite difficult. Costa Rica is a very mountainous country. The worst segment was in Panama with a positive elevation gain of 1688 meters.

It wasn't a very zen trip, the trucks sometimes passed very close to me. The noise was also a very difficult factor for me to manage. It's not a restful ride. Here is a video of a few minutes, imagine a day hearing this noise.
